Caramel Milkshake

Servings: 1

Total Time: 5 minutes

Active Time: 5 minutes

Chef’s Note: I’m still a HUGE fan of my caramel smoothie (recipe to come), which I developed after far too many trips to Wawas, but this caramel milkshake is practically to die for as well, even if it contains more calories and fat.  While not for the calorie counters out there or the health nuts, this milkshake is the pretty guilty pleasure or pick me up for a bad day.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup 1% (or 2%) milk
  • 2 tbsp caramel syrup
  • Vanilla extract

Kitchenware:

  • Magic Bullet (or blender)
  • Measuring cup
  • Measuring spoon

Steps:

  1. Add the vanilla ice cream, milk and caramel syrup to the Bullet.
  2. Using the tablespoon measuring spoon from the caramel, add just a dash of vanilla extract (definitely do not fill it up!  We’re looking for maybe 1/8 to 1/4 of a teaspoon here).
  3. Blend together.
Have a spoon (or wide straw) ready and enjoy!
